Late Summer Swamp Light
The summer weather pattern has remained constant even as we see the fall equinox this year. That means late afternoon thunderstorms are the norm. We have been making lots of photo excursions lately, and the dark clouds and broken sky make for great light. Spotty and intermittent cloud cover drapes dark dramatic backdrops behind glowing cypress stumps. You really cant beat the angular late afternoon light amongst the cypress groves. Kelly and Joe, two long time photography and outdoor buddies had a great time exploring the light and scenery of the Manchac Swamp!
