If you have been looking at going on a swamp tour, and the large crowded boats are not your thing, this is the trip for you! This is one of the most unique swamp tours in Louisiana. We use a mud boat called a “Go Devil” to get you into areas of the swamps even air boats cannot go. Not only can we get you to places that air boats cannot, but you will still have your hearing when you are done and can talk and enjoy the surrounds and wildlife without wearing earphones! This small boat swamp tour is perfect for couples and small families. We usually don’t see another boat on the water and we can explore remote areas of the swamp where there are certainly not any crowds.

What To Expect 

Our private small boat swamp tours last for about 2 hrs on the water. Your guide will tell you about the history of the area and point out wildlife along the way. We do not feed alligators or other wildlife. This is better for the environment and health of the local wildlife. Because we do not feed them we cannot guarantee sightings, but the area we explore has abundant wildlife, so wildlife sightings are common. Your boat will have a basic seat for each guest and we have some storage available if you would like to bring a backpack, purse, or other belongings. You are welcome to bring snacks or food with you on your trip. You should plan for an extra 10 – 20 minutes between launching and load out for your next scheduled tours. There are plantations, restaurants and other attractions in the area, so enjoy!
